In the image above you can clearly see that the image on the left is a god (Anubis) this is seen because of his size and his "head". On the right there is a person smaller than the god, this is a pharaoh going to the underworld. In this setting Anubis is weighing the pharaohs heart with a feather, if the heart is equal in weight it means that he did not commit sins and he can go to the underworld, if not he is devoured.
