Unit #2 Reflection (Prehistory+Early Humans.
1. Describe how you prepared/studied for the test.
1.) Do you think your studying strategies were effective- Why/Not?
2.) How will you prepare next time.
A. The steps that I took to study for the Humanities test were; Fisrt I went and read all of my notes that I took in class, then I went back to the Humanities blog to read from the textbook and make sure my notes were accurate, next I had my brother (Anze) quiz me.
A1.) U do believe that my strategies effective, because I learned something I didn't know through studying. But I also believe that I should have studied a bit longer.
A2.) I think that next time I could also include some friends to quiz/test me, and I will study longer.
2. What was the most surprising thing you learned about/during this unit?
A. The most surprising thing I learned was that early hominids went all the way to Europe, Asia etc to follow their food and to stay warm. Another thing I found interesting was the usage of tools, we as hominids invented tools 3m.y.a and we still use some of the same tools today, but a bit more modified.
3. If we had more time to spend on Prehistory+Early humans- what would you want to learn more about.
A. I would like to learn more about the Hobits, I believe that we kind of learned about them, but we could learn more and I think it would be interesting if we did.

Hobbits
Who were the hobbits?
Hobbits were Early Hominids that were about the size of a 4 year old today. There have been two different dates that they were dated to the first is about 12,000 years ago, the second was from about 18,000 to 12,000 years ago. These Early Humans were Bipedal, stone tool makers and also believed to be fire tamers. They were very simulare to "Lucy's type of humans" but Hobbits had more evolved brains, they also had much less body hair, which meant they could run longer distances, because of the ability to sweat.
Language and Tools
Why were tool-making and language important for the development of human culture?
Provide examples to explain and support your thinking
Provide examples to explain and support your thinking
This is why Language and tools are important
- First Tools Helped them hunt, Warmth, Lifestyle, Jewelry and Art
- Language helped them communicate, socialize, plans for hunting, how to make tools, And Paintings.
Language was important for many reasons most of them were to share the abilities to make tools, but there was also storytelling/Socialize, It helped Early humans devise hunting tactics and also paintings.

Reflection For Unit 1 Understanding History+ Archeology
What did you learn?
What did you find mast interesting?
What learning skills were you able to practice+how?
What did you learn about yourself?
I learned how to date ancient artifacts I also learned how to analyse things, and one of the most important things that I learned where the steps I have to use to discover an Artifact.
The thing that I found very interesting was the steps you have to use if you want to be an archeologist.
The skills that I was able to practice were the steps because we went outside and used the steps and learned the basics.
I learned that I maybe would like to be an archeologist one day.
